Thank you for your patience while our website was down for service!

To Our Customers

You may have heard or read that the EPA took issue with Unelko’s application of the long-standing 40 CFR 152.25(a) exemption from FIFRA regulation (and EPA registration) to market its newly-patented and patent-pending multifunctional surface care technologies.

The unique Sani-Shield®, Sani-Scrub®, Stainless Shine™ and the range of Clean & Shield® products clean and simultaneously shield hard surfaces with invisible water, soil & stain repellent barrier coatings to reduce the adhesion & buildup of organic and inorganic soil for easier next-time cleaning and inhibit the growth of odor-causing bacteria, mold & mildew in-between cleaning.

EPA’s Complaint, Stop Sale Orders and misleading press releases centered solely on Unelko’s lack of EPA registration for the products.

We are pleased to announce that Unelko has settled its differences with the EPA, and is applying for EPA registration of these 1-Step cleaning and antimicrobial-resistant barrier coating technologies that Unelko has proven to be earth & user safe. EPA registration will enable us to make significant additional bactericidal, fungicidal and viricidal claims for the products.

Pending such registration, Unelko has re-labeled the products to conform to EPA’s guidelines for the exemption. Those guidelines prevent Unelko and its customers from making public health claims for the control of specific germs. The products are available for immediate shipment in RTU and Concentrate form, and provide a whole new way to clean – and keep surfaces sanitary – for improved surface hygiene!
